hey!

Version 2.17 beta is out

Release newsIf you don't report problems with this latest version in the forum there is a chance that they won't be fixed at all and go to may-be-last-stable release of AutoGK (and 5 days wait on forum is not an excuse - you have more than 5 days now to report problems). Change log:

- DGIndex updated to version 1.4.3
- Installer enables two hidden options by default: .colorcorrection and .detect43
- filters RemoveGrain and VSFilter are updated
- warning when using quality based mode and standalone compatibility options is implemented
- VTS_xx_0.VOB file are ignored during encoding in IFO mode
- improved auto-naming of output files and last opened dir persistence for IFO mode

Enjoy while it lasts.

Version 2.18.1 beta is out

Release newsI don't usually do this, but this time I had to repack installer to include new fixed version of XviD (no changes in AutoGK itself and it will still show 2.18 as its version after install). Change log:

- new XviD build included (the one in 2.18 was broken for some CPUs)
- DGIndex updated to version 1.4.4 Final

( xvid.cvs.head.2005.09.25.7z )

Those who didn't believe this day would come - were wrong smile This is officially last version of AutoGK that I'm going to release. Never say never, but at the moment I have no plans of continuing developing it. Reasons are the usual ones: lack of time and motivation. I was struggling with keeping the development up for almost a year and nothing really worked out in the end (but users managed to give me a lot of grief during DAE story). So its over for now. I might still do some updates to include latest version of software used in the package if I'm around, but no changes to the core AutoGK should be expected.

Change log:

- updated multilingual tutorials
- audio/sub selection is remembered during consequential opening of files (again)
- .credits hidden option can be used for AVI input as well

Enjoy.

Xmas is early this year - version 2.25 is out!

Release newsAs a thanks to my new hosting and mirrors (we have 5 now) and as my holiday gift this year I'm releasing a new version of AutoGK (which still should be considered as the last one). As promised there are no new features, but a bunch of bugfixes and updated bundled software. Oh yeah and there is support for current DivX versions (old 6.0 is no longer supported). Full change log:

- fixed bug in handling 60fps FILM sources
- fixed bug when minimum width setting was not respected in some cases
- fixed bug in persisting "No Audio/No subs" options for consequent opened files
- fixed "help" link on about window
- fixed bug when AutoGK goes into loop of error message if no XviD is found and DivX version is unsupported
- GREATLY improved speed of analysis step for AVI input sources
- "Unknown language" label is no longer put into AVI audio stream comments
- fixed "cartoon" hidden option propagation for latest XviD
- added support for all DivX versions starting with 6.0.3 build 1697 (plain 6.0.0 is no longer supported)
- updated french and portuguese tutorials
- DGIndex is updated to version 1.4.5
- avisynth is updated to version 2.5.6a
- lame is updated to version 3.97b2
- XviD 1.1 build of 09/12/05 is bundled

Downloaded mirrrors are rotated to balance the load, so don't be surprised if you get files from different location everytime you hit download. Also check for update for versions below 2.25 will not work since I moved hosting.

P.S. It was reported that latest XviD bundled with this version is incompatible with ESS option of AutoGK, so for the time being you should use XviD from previous version if you wish to use ESS option

Happy holidays everyone,
len0x.
