It’s going to be almost a year since 0.6 preview was released.
A long time isn't it?
As you know FlasKMPEG is a free, GPLd program so it basically depends on the will of those developers, like me, interested to contribute to it. We mainly do this in our limited spare time and it would be nice that some people would be aware of that circumstance. Time availability and no other reason is what has delayed the release of 0.6 for so long.
So are we going to see a 0.6 release? Likely yes. When? I would say soon, but you know… ‘never say soon!’
Where you will go from there? I still have the feeling that we lack of a powerful and yet simple transcoding utility so that could drive the project further. If you want to help contact us.
So just stay tuned
